Meet The New Collection

The new Spring/Summer 2026 edit is a love letter to the fierce beauty of the natural world. Titled “Of Land, Sea and Blooms,” the collection is designed to transport you to a universe where nature takes the centre stage. 

Expect freeing, effortless silhouettes that mirror the untamed energy of the elements. Drawing their inspiration from the waves crashing on the beach, the fierceness of land predators, and the beauty of flowers, each and every piece is designed to evoke the spirit of the outside. Imagine bold, commanding energy captured through vibrant prints mixed with the fluidity of the sea. 

About The Brand

Founded in 2020 by NIFT alumna Priya Mittal, YAM has quickly moved from its debut at the Kala Ghoda Festival to becoming a staple for the modern woman who values heritage without the heaviness. 

As a slow fashion brand YAM doesn’t follow a frantic retail calendar, instead it focuses on conscious creation. They use natural, raw materials to create their collections like silk from Beranas, cottons and canvas from South Indian weaves, and others. Their zero-waste policy allows them to produce ethnically, and they even upcycle their leftover scraps to create “Sai Sei” pieces. 

On February 26th and 27th, The Design Collective Store invites you into the world of YAM. Come, experience the textiles first-hand, admire their original print artwork, and be part of lively conversations.
