Product Description
Mayura’ is inspired by a description of a queen consort, in an ancient message-poem from 14th century Sri Lanka. The duty of delivering the message, was entrusted with a peacock. The poem, “Mayura Sandeshaya” is addressed to a god, as a plea to grant strength to the king at the time to defeat evil forces in Sri Lanka.
