‘Frida’ is an artistic interpretation of the celebrated Mexican painter Frida Kahlo, reimagined with traditional Sri Lankan adornments. This piece was created in response to a community art prompt titled “What if Frida Kahlo was Sri Lankan,” initiated by Sri Lankan artist Bhagya Madanasinghe.
