Product Description
This collection features a Handcrafted textile, a block printing technique from Sanganar In Jaipur, India.
The garments are constructed by a community of senior women who have retired from export manufacturing units in Sri Lanka, as our way of bringing their experience back into the system and creating income opportunities for a community of our own.
Kumud – the water lily that opens at dusk. Deep purple florals drift across pale cotton, petals and stems tangled in the way things grow when left to their own rhythm. HAND BLOCK PRINTED with wooden stamps. The dye catches differently in each impression – lighter here, richer there.
