This July, The Design Collective brings its carefully curated world of South Asian fashion, jewellery and craftsmanship back to London with a four-day Summer Pop-Up at Graffik Gallery, located in the heart of Portobello Road, Notting Hill.
From 2nd to 5th July, visitors will have the opportunity to discover a thoughtfully selected edit of independent designers from Sri Lanka and South Asia, showcasing contemporary fashion, artisanal jewellery and unique pieces that celebrate creativity, craftsmanship and cultural heritage.
Founded in Colombo, Sri Lanka, The Design Collective has spent nearly a decade building a platform for emerging and established designers across the region. What began as a multi-brand concept store dedicated to championing independent labels has grown into a community that connects designers, makers and conscious consumers through fashion and design.
This London Summer Pop-Up continues that journey, bringing together a collection of brands that reflect the diversity, artistry and innovation of South Asian fashion today.
Discover Independent South Asian Designers
The pop-up will feature an exclusive selection of fashion, jewellery and lifestyle brands including Oga, Swanee, Yam, Pranay, Print Code, Misho Jewellery, Hala, Echchampulle, NÅD, Jodi, Misho Clothing, Mevii and Colombana.
Each brand brings its own distinct perspective to design, from handcrafted jewellery and contemporary silhouettes to artisanal textiles and modern occasion wear. Visitors can explore collections that combine traditional craftsmanship with contemporary aesthetics, offering pieces that are both timeless and unique.
Whether you are searching for statement jewellery, elevated everyday wear, resort pieces for summer travels or one-of-a-kind designs not commonly found on the UK high street, the Summer Pop-Up offers an opportunity to shop directly from independent South Asian brands.
Bringing Sri Lankan and South Asian Fashion to a Global Audience
The Design Collective was founded by Binu Wickramasinghe and Shahili Gomes with a vision of creating a platform that celebrates fashion, art, design and culture. Inspired by their experiences in London, Copenhagen and Delhi, they established The Design Collective to provide visibility for South Asian designers while creating meaningful connections between creators and customers.
Today, The Design Collective represents more than a retail destination. It serves as a space where designers can showcase their work, collaborate with like-minded creatives and reach audiences beyond their local markets.
The London Summer Pop-Up represents another step in that journey, introducing independent South Asian brands to an international audience while strengthening cultural and creative exchange through fashion.
