LOLO & LALA
One of the newest brands to join our collective is LOLO & LALA. Fashion designer Senuki Wijesundera launched her label in May 2022 at The Design Collective store. After completing 2 years of her BA in Fashion and Marketing at the Academy of Design, she debuted her exclusive collection. It uses luxurious Armani pure silk as the main fabric, creating free-flowing vibrant designs that are absolutely beautiful.
LEO The Label
Did you know LEO The Label is a fully female-run operation? It began back in 2021 and was founded by Sashini Jinasena on the sunny shores of Sri Lanka. This artisan-led label creates each garment thoughtfully with love, proving you with staples that hold a special place in your wardrobe. The brand embodies the notions of mindfulness, gratitude and empowerment. The brand uses fabrics that are either biodegradable, compostable, composed of natural fibres, recyclable or recycled. You’ll love their collection of effortless silhouettes, featuring muted colours, harmonious designs and a general sense of belonging.
Pani Kaju
Pani Kaju was launched in 2021 by Vinu Morais. With the hope of combining luxury with versatility, the brand encourages inclusivity at its core. The womenswear label designs pieces that can be adjusted among adjacent size groups and can be worn in multiple different ways–a brand that truly creates one garment that performs the function of many. Their garments are made using the finest materials–cotton and silks that are sourced and manufactured locally. Handcrafted by skilled artisans, their contemporary, versatile designs will leave you stunned.
