With ‘Friends’ being a timeless sitcom, it’s time we revisited the iconic show for all that it offered to the world including some killer fashion inspiration. Friends might have aired during the late 90s and early 00s, but the outfits we spotted throughout the show are back with a bang. Here’s a list of six legendary styles from Rachel, Monica and Phoebe’s wardrobes that you can incorporate into your own wardrobes in 2021.
THE ONE WITH SILK DRESSES
The satin dress trend has been popular for just the last couple of years, right? Wrong, it was also popular back in the 90’s and all three girls owned them.
THE ONE WITH THE LITTLE BLACK DRESS
Classic, simple and figure-hugging, you don’t need much for this look except a little black dress. Rachel looks so great every time she wears them that we had to include this simple look. Combine the dress with accessories and your outfit is ready. Sporty, classic or chic, it’s your choice. This dress leaves a lot of room for creativity and can look different every time thanks to the accessories you choose to pair it with.
THE ONE WITH THE KNOTTED SHIRTS
All the girls loved to turn their shirts into crop tops; it’s a look that was seen early on in the series towards the end of the 90’s. We’re still here for this trend and we love it!

In the search for the perfect white shirt, it seems Monica hit the jackpot. It’s the simplest styling weapon and it is the cherry on top of Monica Geller’s outfits. Whether they’re tied in the front and paired with jeans, tucked into tailored trousers for a more masculine look, or layered under a dress, white shirts never fail to make an impression.

One of the things we love about Rachel’s style is her killer workwear. We adore a good suit because they make you feel well put together and are a power outfit for many women.

How can one forget Phoebe’s rings? She had mastered the art of layering even back in the 90’s before it was a thing! You could see her wearing a dozen rings all the time, from stones to pearls to diamonds. You name it, Phoebe layered it!
